The East West College clinic has grown over the years and now provides services by highly trained and licensed natural medicine professionals and also serves as a hands-on training facility for our Oriental Medicine students.
As a patient, this is what you can expect:
Acupuncture physicians assess your condition based on Oriental medical theory and physiological balance, using intake questioning, pulse and tongue diagnosis. A comprehensive Oriental medical diagnosis is determined.
A treatment plan is devised that may include a series of acupuncture treatments, herbal and nutritional supplements, diet, exercise recommendations or massage.
Oriental medicine, including acupuncture, can be preventative, curative or beneficial for health maintenance. It treats underlying roots of imbalance that lead to disease. Depending on the patient's health condition, the course of treatment varies.

The clinic setting
A large reception area welcomes patients. The adjoining clinics have a traditional medical layout, including 17 treatment/examination rooms of which six are dedicated to the Student Clinic. Our professional and student clinics service approximately 230 patients a week. The diversity of patients offers students experience with a wide range of health conditions and diseases, enhancing their clinical experience.
A private clinic conference room is available for supervisors and students to discuss patient diagnosis and treatments. Wheelchair accessible restroom facilities and sufficient wash areas are conveniently located to maintain strict hygiene protocols. Both clinics are outfitted with the standard equipment utilized in the Oriental Medical profession.
