Dr. Wu is a specialist in health issues related to women. She received her medical degree (M.D.) from China, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition, Master of Science in Oriental Medicine (M.S.O.M) and Doctor of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (D.A.O.M.) from Midwest College of Oriental Medicine (MCOM), and Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) from University of Science Arts and Technology (USAT). Dr. Wu also received her Master of Science (M.S.) from DePaul University in Chicago. She was trained in both oriental medicine and western medicine and has over thirty years of medical clinical practice as well as teaching and research experience from prestige hospitals in China and the US.
Dr. Wu specializes in Women's Health with TCM, as well as western medicine Obstetrics/Gynecology. She has been able to integrate medicine and in the process has successfully treated over a thousand patients. Dr. Wu's other health specialties include infertility, OB/GYN, pain management, cancer, and TCM prevention. In China she is a gynecological and obstetrics surgeon who has performed thousands of surgeries.
Dr. Wu is currently the Vice President, Academic Dean at East West College of Natural Medicine (EWCNM). She held the position of Professor and Director at USAT; Clinic Director, Professor at Acupuncture Massage College (AMC); Dean, Professor at the MCOM, where she taught classes in both TCM and Western medicine. Dr. Wu has published several papers and books, including Acupuncture and The Gynecology/Obstetrics in TCM Preventive Medicine.
