Dr. Drew Peterson DC, MCTCM, BA, CA, CH, CLT is presently instructing biology, chemistry, medical terminology and anatomy and physiology at EWCNM and is a nutritional consultant for Premier Broadcasting’s Fox Syndicated George Noory Coast To Coast Radio Show providing nutritional consultations for Critical Health News since 2011assisting over 17,000 people. He has been licensed to practice Chiropractic medicine in California, Colorado and Florida.
Dr. Peterson worked for a NASA consultant in Colorado Springs performing hydroponic research for the International Space Station in 1974-76. He was a laboratory technician at Instrumentation Labs, MA establishing detection limits for their atomic absorption spectrophotometers. He is a recipient of two National Foundation grants in marine biology as an undergraduate at Franklin Pierce College, NH where he was granted a BA in biology in 1973, graduated Western States Chiropractic University, OR. in 1980, the Han Tang School Of acupuncture, FL. in 2000. He was certified by Logan College Of Chiropractic in the therapeutic use of laser technology. He was certified by NCCAOM in acupuncture from 2005-13 and the University Of Colorado Pharmacy School in Botanical Medicine 1996,97. He instructed medical terminology and physiology at Indian River State University for eleven years, the Colorado School Of Traditional Chinese Medicine and the Han Tang School Of Acupuncture. He was an associate editor and researcher for the California Journal Of Oriental Medicine 2003-9, published in 11 issues and edited 3 books for the Standard Process Supplement Company. He was on peer review for the evidence-based Harvard – UCLA consortium Natural Standard for three years where he was inducted as a Fellow into the Institute Of Post Graduate Medicine. In 2009, with the assistance of Harbor Branch Oceanographic Institute, he was the first to discover the presence of acupuncture points on the West Indian Manatee.
